ABNOOS MOSLEH-SHIRAZI was born on March 4th, 1996 in Shiraz, Iran but was raised in Canada. She obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology with First Class Honors from York University in 2017. She is now attending medical school. Abnoos learned how to cook, bake, sow and knit from her grandmother, Najma, and learned how to draw and paint from her aunt, Jaleh and her mother. Najma, Jaleh and her mother are important strong women in Abnoos’ life which encouraged her to help write their stories.
